Meet and party

Rocktoberfest is just 2 DAYS AWAY! And one thing I have on my mind is, how many people do we know really on Twitter or on Facebook. Heck, how many of you guys knows each other.

Well, worry no more. Rocktoberfest is a really good opportunity for us to meet you guys and gals. We would love to get to know you better. Tell us how we're doing, what you like, what you don't like, what you want to see more of. Don't just tell us, share your thoughts on Twitter, Facebook, or just meet someone at Rocktoberfest and bug them about it.

We are excited for Rocktoberfest, and even more excited for everyone coming.

Trying something new

We here at West Coast are trying something new.  Starting today, we will be holding a Twitter contest, giving out tickets to the Rocktoberfest being held all day next Saturday 10/23 right here. 

Here’s how it works.  At 5pm today, we will tweet something.  All you have to do is Retweet that and you will be entered into the contest for a chances to win a pair of tickets for Rocktoberfest.  Then everyday next week, starting Monday, we will picking one lucky person who has Retweeted the tweet anytime between 5 pm today to 5 pm Friday 10/22 as a winner.  We announce one winner to go to Rocktoberfest everyday next week on Twitter.  Winners will receive a message with details about receiving the tickets. 

Tip:  Remember, the earlier you Retweet, the better chance you have winning because there will be more and more Retweet everyday you wait!

IT'S ROCKTOBERFEST TIME !!!

What better way is there to celebrate the Oktoberfest holiday with not only a little (or a lot) of beer but also some live music?

That’s exactly what The Casbah owner, Tim Mays, and the man behind West Coast Tavern, David Cohen, were thinking when they created San Diego’s “Rocktoberfest” – the perfect marriage of booze and rock.

The event taking place October 23^rd will host 8 bands on two stages and expects between 2000-3000 attendees celebrating with beers in hand. The lineup includes top local bands such as The Silent Comedy, Get Back Loretta, and Midnight Rivals.
